 Cable, Broadband, VoIP, Wireless Background Cox Communications Inc. is a multi-service broadband communications company with approximately 6.6 million total customers. The nation's third-largest cable television provider, Cox offers both analog cable television as well as advanced digital video service. Cox provides an array of other communications and entertainment services, including local and long-distance telephone, high-speed Internet access, and commercial voice and data services via Cox Business Services. Challenges The user interface on the Cox web properties is different from site to site and needs unification. Several logins are required for user to login which made it difficult for users. Web traffic analysis tools were inaccurate and weak. The business division site needed an interface revision. Online marketing efforts needed budgeting and strategic direction. Solution My responsibilities include managing Cox.com to maximize the customer’s online experience. Also, ensuring the effectiveness of the ecommerce efforts by optimizing content display, merchandizing, navigation, functionality and product presentation. I managed the implementation of a best-in-class site analytics solution for measuring visitor activity, advertising effectiveness, campaign tracking, and e-commerce transactions. I contributed to the creative vision of a new site design for Cox business services, the result was a better experience for customers, and a lift in sales leads. I am currently developing strategies for online marketing efforts including search engine optimization, email and search engine marketing, metric tracking, pay per click advertising and to improve lead generation and conversion rates.
